Anyone found tretinoin cream to be not as good for acne as micro gel?

Anyone tried the micro gel or normal gel tret cause their cream based tret wasn't working well? Like I suspect the cream itself clogs my pores and contributes to acne

Go get an antibiotic meds from the docs and after it clears up then use tret for maintenance. These kinda acne are deep inside the skin.

I know they are the intermediate type of deep, with cysts being the deepest and whiteheads the least. When i used topical clindamycin for this type of acne my face got 90% clear in 2 months but it stopped working after almost a year from tolerance

My hope now is buying benzoyl peroxide washz never tried that, it should act like an antibiotic

Atleast something’s working for you. I get recurring cysts on my chin idk why, I have clear skin all around my face except for my chin.

You should have used clindamycin with bp since bp doesn’t let the bacteria build up resistance to clindamycin.

Currently my diet is more then 50% calories from fruit and the rest from meat, some eggs and milk (i tried not drinking milk for few months, had no affect on my acne so i went back with it and nothing changed for worse). I've been on a diet like this for 1 week now. No vegetables, grains, seed oils, wheat etc.

Its probably the diary, there is nothing about meat that can cause inflammation like that, except the onlt culprit possibly being histamine. Did you eat old ground beef mostly or processed/cured meats? Thats the only logical explanation, fresh meat cant cause problems, its legit the ultimate elimination diet

im 21 and i dont have any sings of skin issues for only like a year now, not even flare ups no matter what i ate

but i cured it at 16, and until 20 i could get a major flare up on my face from chicken and some specific sugar foods


from 13 to 16 i had acne and seb derm
at 16 i found rob stuart on youtube, i started vegan diet ( there were no hate back then, about it being very soy and feminine)
so i jumped, but i cant cook and it requires to cook all day
so i went to school from 9 to 16 . came back home ate oatmeal on soymilk with a lot of bananas and apples
and after 3 hours ate a large bowl of spaghetti with some light sauce (not ketchup, its too sugary it flares up the skin for me)


and i did it for 3 weeks and i went from red tomato to great skin. i ascended from subhumanity


but then this diet sucked and i stopped eating it and i started eating whatever, and only certain foods only gave me flare ups until 20 when i just completely stopped having skin issues


sorry for an essay, just my story. SKIN PROBLEMS ARE tragic, it ruined me forever becuase i had them in development years.

Im not againts open minded diets except seed oil PUFAs jfl at that. But the biggest acne offenses are omega 6, milk, wheat, chicken meat could be from all the hormones pumped in them to make them grow faster.

The diet i do now is vegan like in terms of being the least offensive, fruits have anti oxidants and natural vit C, red meat has lots of nutrients and proteins.

Does clindamycin have side effects like isotretinoin?

What did clindamycin do with post inflammatory hyperpigmentation?
