Anyone got Covid and lost their taste and smell?

Seriously.
Has anyone got covid and lost their sense of taste and smell? It is possibly the strongest indicator of whether or not you have covid.
Shit is lowkey scary man, I've heard some of my friends who got covid months ago still haven't gotten their sense of taste and smell back.

thank god i've haven't gotten it yet, ima start taking covid seriously from now on.
But that doesn't mean im taking the vaccine JFL. Im gonna wait until everyone else takes the vaccine so i won't get infected.

I had covid but didn’t lose taste or smell
My younger brother lost his taste and smell but only for a week

I lost taste and smell for a few weeks but tested negative idk had all symptomps tho. I dont know anyone who didnt get his taste and smell back tho but for some it took months
