Permanent gains aren't possible unless there was an underlying problem fixed during the period you took minoxidil.

what about one year of everyday use and then after one year mark you drop it down to 2 times a week for maintenance?

Probably not what you'd wanna hear but transplant is your absolute highest roi here. they're also a lot cheaper than a proper hair transplant since you're dealing with much less grafts

for hair on the top i dont know i dont have hairloss but my beard and eyebrow hairs are terminal hairs already so they will stay even if i stop using it maybe its it doesnt grow as fast as it does

Still not how minoxidil works, it doesn't miraculously grow hair and then keep it in place once it's removed.
Despite what @themogger1 said, we can't base off of anecdotal evidence, but sure, let's take his situation in consideration.The only real permanent minoxidil gains are on the beard area during puberty or closely after it when the beard naturally grows in, minoxidil simply helps this transition happen faster, the follicles don't become dependent on the solution.

i only used topical but i also have to say i already had good eyebrow genetics but the beard before i had 0% beard i didnt even have 1 hair

for the hair on the head im sure it will fall out again after you stop using it but for eyebrows and beard it will will work but you have to use it till the hair is terminal when you stop and the hair isnt terminal yet it will fall out i recommend using a dermastamp 1.5 mm to boost the hairgrowth
