How was it, was it big revisions or just small adjustments ?Yeah I had revision rhino, technically 2 revision rhinos if you want to be anal about how its counted.
Really big.How was it, was it big revisions or just small adjustments ?
Did you add rib grafts or was it not like that, was the recovery worse for the second or third ?Really big.
I had a zig-zag deviated septum, w/ a boxy tip, cartilage separation and fairly wide nose.
So I had ENT do a septoplasty, then I had an open rhino/septo which they counted as revision rhino, I got unlucky and had significant complications, had to get a 2nd revision rhino that's mostly doing well.
There are some minor things that are left over from my original complications that are not ideal but not sure its worth another revision, it's still healing as only 6 months out.
On the upside every time operation increased the functional aspects of both breathing and smell. Overall it looks fairly good now other then left over swelling.
Ossified rib grafts from a donor source that had been irradiated(apparently it reduces warping).Did you add rib grafts or was it not like that, was the recovery worse for the second or third ?
Okey i see, sounds kinda brutal man hahah. Should be fine thoughOssified rib grafts from a donor source that had been irradiated(apparently it reduces warping).
The worsted recovery was the first "revision" rhino. The osteotomy on the nasal bone is a fucking cunt. Also the results you get with this are abit random. While you can get it pushed in consistently, how they break and then heal is a bit more of a dice roll. So you can still end up with small bump, even if they do it properly.
But this creates a fuck ton of bleeding, expect huge dark eyes and to be out of it for a few days. Some people bleed so bad the entire sclera of both eyes becomes completely blood red. It looks scary as fuck.
For the 2nd revision really wasn't that bad. Even though there were significant complications from the 1st.
All of these you need to mouth breath for a week during 24/7. So be sure to get 2-3 humidifies prior to the operation. You also need to sleep upright.
