Growing up (from like 4th grade to 8th grade mostly) I was a sub5. It genuinely was disgusting to look at me. Anyways, first time I had a crush, my closest friends and my crush got together and played a prank on me. They thought it was funny to prank me into thinking my crush wants to be together with me. My naive ass believed it all until a day later they blew it up by letting my crush say she's lesbian and not into men (which obviously, was a lie. She wasnt lesbian)

Now, since then I have ascended to the point where I can say people would find me attractive (haven't reached my max tho) but I still can't believe when someone tells me that they like me. Like my first thought is that they either think its funny or they say it to test me for something.

I never said im the only one. I just havent met anybody yet with a similar story so im curious. Thats why I posted in the first place
