About to start dermastamping my eyebrows and there’s not a whole lot of information out there about the procedure for this. Does anyone have suggestions as far as needle length, frequency, etcetera? I use minoxidil and castor oil on my brows every night. I’m thinking I will dermastamp at 0.5-1mm once or twice a week, using the topicals in the morning on those days.

Been doing it for months. It’s cope tbh. Got more results from just dyeing my eyebrows

Really? People using it on their hairline say it works in conjunction with other treatments. I’m using minoxidil orally and topically plus tretinoin and castor oil on my brows. I already bought the stamp so hopefully it does something :hnghn:

Oral minox works

how old do you think is the appropriate age to start using oral minoxidil?

Worked for me. 0.25mm everyday, 0.6 once a week (work up to these targets). Any higher will damage the skin too much causing inflammation and making the healing inefficient.

Microneedling in itself won't move the needle much but in conjunction with something else like minoxidil, it'll work great. But you'll need to have done it for at least 3 months, consistently. I wouldn't microneedle too often (more than like once every 10 days or so).
I'd recommend the Derminator 2, it's motorized and available for normal people, unlike the ones for businesses.
I wouldn't apply the minoxidil right after, instead, I'd microneedle, and maybe about 24 hours after I'd apply it (low-concentration alcohol, preferably).

what do you think about microneedling with castor oil?

Should’ve got a dermapen instead. I’ve been using a dermapen with 1.5 mm every 7-12 days on my eyebrows and the hair growth results are insane.

Is a dermapen not the same thing as a dermastamp?

They both do the same thing but dermapen is way better and more effective since you have better control of the needle depth. The only issue is that derma pens are expensive. But they are worth it for skin health and hair growth.
Ah, is a dermapen an electric one that moves the needles for you?
Yes.
