No wonder i dont like spending time with people irl, feels like they are stealing my time (even if i d otherwise spend it staring at the wall)

Probably why i prefer forums - you can just close them whenever you feel like it

Reflects on my sex life too. It was mostly ons' or very short ltrs. I cant imagine myself spending every second of my free time with a girl. Feels like a second job

virtually all 'schizoids' are people with aspergers/mild autism in deep deep denial

Genuinely considered if I am one. I am mentally fucked

I don't feel the need for marriage/a gf/long term relationship of any sort at all. Whenever I see characters in moves for example pursue it, it seems like a waste of effort.

For friendships. A lot of people talk about how they want close friends and not superficial relationships, I'm the opposite. Having people to superficially express ideas to + get social validation > any actual bond

I'm probably too narcy to be an actual schizoid, I like validation and attention, but I definitely have some deviance in that realm

You are just a loser. I said "diagnosed" for a reason

And is being a diagnosed loser any different from being an undiagnosed loser?

Same and it extends to family too. Can't stand when I'm forced to talk or eat with them.

I'm not diagnosed and I'm not mentally eel, It's solely my personal preference. In which case, people should respect that but they don't ( in an ideal world )

@Underdog9494 is undiagnosed I think

I have abused dog syndrome which is similar, but that comes from a lifetime of rejection

schizoid isnt a synonym for loser. Telling yourself you are special and different is

Bunch of delusional special snowflakes itt

Nothing really “special” about it

Differences are the same as preferring chocolate ice cream over vanilla. Not something you can choose

There’s a reason I said deviance, because this is something that literally inhibits my life. By all accounts being social is better for things like your career/money/legacy (thing I care the most about)

ironically you’re the one with a weird antagonistic attitude about it

If everyone thinks they’re special but you, you’re the special one right?

the symptoms of 'schizoid personality disorder' (as real as a unicorn) typically result from a defense mechanism brought up by a lifetimes worth of social rejection/failure. its a way for the brain's to unconsciously avoid social interactions bc it knows it's inherently terrible at them and wants to avoid further embarrassment/failure, similar to why people who suck at math, happen to always dislike math.

really its just a nice way for a psychiatrist to call someone an abused dog, there's not a lot of neuroscience backing it

I knew retards here dont know the difference between a schizoid pd and schizophrenia
Why would anyone here bother learning about this shit

Nah, I think I understand where OP is coming from and this isn't it. It's the difference between an abused dog and a lone wolf who thinks the pack just a bunch of cringe fools

op is undoubtedly the former who thinks hes the latter

its just spergs hiding behind their intellect to fawn superiority despite their social retardation

There's no neuroscience behind any psychology, and the correlation between symptoms and any data taken from neuroscience is mostly arbitrary, as how the symptoms are organized is completely dependent on the conception of the nature of the subject, which is not scientific but philosophical. Having vague correlation between already heavily interpreted data and that of neuroscience doesn't magically change the nature of psychology.
