did it and felt like shit then learned that it reduces igf 1
 
yea its not that hard once you get used to it

if youve never fasted before itll be difficult at tha start, but gets significantly easier

i recommend IF before you go full fast

Why would you torture yourself with water fasting when all you need to do is walking 30min a day eating a 300kcal deficit with 70%carbs 30% protein

Why would u do that to yourself? please listen to me, staying lean is easiest thing in the world.

Eating maintenance if already lean, 200-300 kcal deficit if want to get lean
70%carbs 30%protein - EATING FOOD THAT YOU LIKE (burgers, sweets) whatever you want. EATING HEALTHY IS A MYTH. THERE IS NO BAD FOOD AND GOOD FOOD.
 
Sure not by choice tho, i was just too depressed to eat anything. So i just drank shitton of water for 3 days straight.
 
i did 16/8 fast when i was 14 and went from 170 to 145 lbs (was 5'6) in 6 months it was not a good idea but atleast no side effects. this probably is not relevant to question though

yes bro, its the easiest way to lean max. Your body does not lose much muscle while doing it either because it uses your fat for energy. I just finished a 4 day fast and lost 5lbs.

After like 18hours I don't feel hunger anymore, I only end up breaking it because im bored and eating seems enjoyable

Have fun trying to lose any serious weight at 300 cal deficit with only 30 minutes of cardio. That's less than a pound a week. Have you not seen the research that shows it's way more difficult to eat at a deficit than it is to water fast? That eating at a deficit is catabolic as fuck whereas fasting is muscle sparing?

Yes type of food matters. A calorie is a calorie but what you eat matters in regards to how your hunger hormones respond. You could eat 300 cals of sugar and in an hour or less you'll be starving again but if that 300 calories was protein dense you would still be satiated.

This is why fat asses who eat bad foods end up eating way over their caloric limit. You become addicted to the pleasure of eating as well as have your hormones telling you that you're hungry even if you're at a caloric surplus for the day.

When you water fast (ALWAYS HAVE ELECTROLYTES.. SODIUM AND POTASSIUM) your hunger hormones stop spiking entirely after about day 3 and your body starts running completely off body fat. You will lose about 1-2lb a day especially if you combine it with low intensity cardio. Results = motivation = sustainability. Good luck staying motivated losing less than a Lb a week.

I did it for 2 and a half days and just couldn't continue bruh. Only drank water.

I just want to help man. I just want to fucking help, after all it's not that hard, people just make it hard and try various ways, I've been there, I've done that also.

Nah man I am actually eating sweets everyday, I am eating candy bars everyday that I have tested that are not breaking out my skin. You have to make an effort and test what foods cause you breakout by eliminating those foods from your diet, for anti-pimple maxxing. The only sweet that is breaking out me everytime is pure chocolate.

Then try water fast, to see if your food is causing your breakouts. Ded srs, do it for 2 days straight if you are motivated, its gonna be hard but worth it. You will know that there is something in your diet that needs to be changed. Then step by step eliminate the usual food you eat.

I drank only water and a total of 2 cans of soda over a 3 day fast. Absolutely no food.
It's very intense, you feel supernatural afterwards.
Highly recommend trying it. It taught me how addicted I was to sugar.
 
i ifasting every day for like 16 - 20 because i sleep alot. tbh no side effects. did 24 hour didnt feel anything tbh. however i lost a lot of weight i was from 92 kg to 68kg rn. i grew muscles (idk if it was from fasting or from puberty) my skin is kinda clear. prob had pimples because i dont wash my face everyday.
 
Amaroli is best for fasting.

Don't fast unless you're finished growing. But the benefits of activating NRF2 are insane. You should focus on keeping a longevity based approach when it comes to feasting/fasting (anabolism/catabolism). There's benefits in both but obvious downsides too. HIIT and berberine will help you get into autophagy quicker and that should be the goal of a fast.
