na fasting is good for youi did 16/8 fast when i was 14 and went from 170 to 145 lbs (was 5'6) in 6 months it was not a good idea but atleast no side effects. this probably is not relevant to question though
Why would you torture yourself with water fasting when all you need to do is walking 30min a day eating a 300kcal deficit with 70%carbs 30% protein

70%carbs 30%protein - EATING FOOD THAT YOU LIKE (burgers, sweets) whatever you want. EATING HEALTHY IS A MYTH. THERE IS NO BAD FOOD AND GOOD FOOD.

Have fun trying to lose any serious weight at 300 cal deficit with only 30 minutes of cardio. That's less than a pound a week. Have you not seen the research that shows it's way more difficult to eat at a deficit than it is to water fast? That eating at a deficit is catabolic as fuck whereas fasting is muscle sparing?
Yes type of food matters. A calorie is a calorie but what you eat matters in regards to how your hunger hormones respond. You could eat 300 cals of sugar and in an hour or less you'll be starving again but if that 300 calories was protein dense you would still be satiated.
This is why fat asses who eat bad foods end up eating way over their caloric limit. You become addicted to the pleasure of eating as well as have your hormones telling you that you're hungry even if you're at a caloric surplus for the day.
When you water fast (ALWAYS HAVE ELECTROLYTES.. SODIUM AND POTASSIUM) your hunger hormones stop spiking entirely after about day 3 and your body starts running completely off body fat. You will lose about 1-2lb a day especially if you combine it with low intensity cardio. Results = motivation = sustainability. Good luck staying motivated losing less than a Lb a week.

Nah man I am actually eating sweets everyday, I am eating candy bars everyday that I have tested that are not breaking out my skin. You have to make an effort and test what foods cause you breakout by eliminating those foods from your diet, for anti-pimple maxxing. The only sweet that is breaking out me everytime is pure chocolate.Its gonna be hard for me to not eat sweets but ill do it thanks man

Then try water fast, to see if your food is causing your breakouts. Ded srs, do it for 2 days straight if you are motivated, its gonna be hard but worth it. Don't fast unless you're finished growing. But the benefits of activating NRF2 are insane. You should focus on keeping a longevity based approach when it comes to feasting/fasting (anabolism/catabolism). There's benefits in both but obvious downsides too. HIIT and berberine will help you get into autophagy quicker and that should be the goal of a fast.Share you experiences with water fasting
