fuck temporary fillers tbh.

I read conflicting opinions on fat grafts online, what's the verdict?

good but not permanent. theyll also atrophy if you eat below you maintenance.

only to a degree afaik

you might need follow up procedures but a certain amount is permanent. at least that's what it says online. but you can't find lots of good info on it.

start with fillers until you get the look you want then go for fat grafts that look similar for permanent results

Should I get fat grafts for my shit under eye area (very thin skin to the point where you can see veins through my skin)

or should I get under eye surgery with taban + infraorbital implants? Would fat grafts achieve the same thing easier, no?

i dont see any veins bro, but it looks like lower eyelid retraction alone would do wonders for your already good eye area.

Here's a vein dude. I honestly don't care about the under eye bags it's just that they are genetically assymetrical. I'm half asian and while I received more white looking eye area, I have my mother's jungle gook under eye area with assymetrical tear troughs.

Will lower eyelid retraction get rid of the lines do you think?

Get fillers at least once before fat graft, don't be that retard who regrets the looks after permanent fillers.

How much are fillers and can they fix tear troughs under eyes?

yeah i see the vein. im not really 100% sure but i doubt infraorbital rim implant would do anything about it since theyre most likely not placed between the vein and the skin, but rather below both.

lower eyelid retraction would bring the eyelid higher up so it wouldnt exactly solve your gook issue. you would probably need some advanced surgery to bring it closer to your eyeball.

I honestly am not sure what I need tbh

Fat grafts a good option and I believe generally better than fillers as long as you have the fat to take. Obviously someone who is 12% bodyfat will probably not have much to liposuction.

The thin skin of the under eyes can be unforgiving so the fat should be decanted but not overly-processed/centrifuged. Being more liquid than usually preferred will help it spread out more evenly and the extra lipoaspirate just be absorbed. It should also go through a nano fat particle filter. This may clarify Anything you have read against under eye fat grafts.

Fat grafting under the eye is usually most useful in combination with other procedures like Infraorbital rim implant, ligamentous release, lower lid retraction, Sub orbital fat pad repositioning etc.

Overfilling with fat or filler can pull the eyelid down.

About half of the fat injected initially will survive and be permanent. (results in 4-8 weeks)

Can you PLEASE look over my thread: https://looksmax.org/threads/read-this-if-youre-considering-fat-grafting.1028455/

This is my desired outcome / the PDF I made that I used when discussing with my potential surgeon -

You need custom implants for your wishes.
Finally.
If you’re referring to eye shape for example, the O’Pry photo is just referencing the fat above the eye.
I don’t think that any of it implies the need for implants, obviously the upper and lower eye grafting is perfect, the lips and mentolabial fold of course will be fine, the only other one is the chin, but I’m going for 2 deposits on each side of the chin, to square it up, no, of course it won’t be “sharp” but it will be more shapely opposed to a fully rounded chin - I’m simply trying to achieve a slightly more vertically projected (not bike seat tier jfl, but that idea) chin, and I’ve been shown results that can reflect this desired outcome.

You know any surgeons for this?

I'm also interested in surgeons and general advice about eye area fat grafting.
