I've been looking into passive real estate investments and one option that caught my eye is fractional ownership in hotels specifically branded ones like Novotel, Marriott, Hilton. Anyone has stakes in this.

I don’t hold any shares and I’m broke, but I thought about it too.

Immobilien in Deutschland sind halt arschteuer.

Some Indians were allowed to settle in the UK after serving in the British army after WW1. I've read about them. They are one of the oldest immigrants from the continent. This lawyer was one of them. Same community I can from, even got knighthood but he denounced it

In your experience, do the returns justify those higher fees/costs, or is it more hassle than it's worth?

How much % are you expecting in return from the investment?

looking at around 12-15% annual returns-that's the kind of yield that makes these fractional hotel investments attractive. Beyond the returns, I like that it's relatively hands off compared to managing a full property plus being tied to a branded hotel adds some stability and potential for appreciation over time

It is in the word itself. Fractional ownership means owning a fraction of something that's it.

Nothing has 12-15% returns unless it’s in some shit currency that will devalue almost as fast as you can make money.

I'm doubtful about those return figures too. That is too high but that is what I've heard some reddit retards say. My friend told me it is closer to 6-8% annual returns especially after factoring in maintenance fees and other costs.

Marriott will make you more money on average

Whether it’s worth the higher initial fee

Depends on your own budget
