im 133 and in mensa but chess doesnt even correlate with iq so wheres the connection?

maybe i should grind up 2k elo and larp being some terra genius

The problems you solve in chess are very similar and directly translate to OR problems

yeah but even then, it takes most people years and years to even hit decent elo

so if they bring you on and you take ages to learn anything then it would be a waste of time

i can kind of see that point but im guessing its valuable in rare occasions
