i would love to but how do you even start fgo? like how to even begin with the whole lore? its a lengthy series i assume but nowhere near as confusing as any other LNs, VNs and whatnot that i have read.

You don't need to read any of the light novels or visual novels before tbh

Just by watching Fate Zero and Unlimited Bladeworks you can get a feel of the universe, how servants works, NPs etc.
