Yes I play.
A telecaster is a fine guitar indeed.

But some think it’s better to learn on acoustic guitars (more difficult).

I learned on a strat from Aldi. Cost about 120 USD with an amp. Now I modded it a lot but it’s actually one of my favorite guitars to play. It has a thick neck, which I like because of big hands.

i will use fender play and youtube to begin with there is a teacher in my town as well

teles are good beginner guitars. they have a nice bright tone, but honestly i would get a strat because they’re more versatile.

It's better to practice 20 min x 3 days than 2 hours x 1 day.

I don't recommend. They're annoying to play, have no cuts, terrible neck pocket, heavy, so many things. Guitar players are retarded trads and keep buying the same unimproving crap. Single coils hum too much unless they're noiseless type.

Unless you're gonna play country, get a nice indonesian made production axe. Ibanez has them. Harley Benton is the best bang for your buck brand especially if you're EU. The yahama pacifica is like the quintessential starter axe that's functional too, albeit has some of the same problems. Other modern brands have cheap ID options - Cort is the house brand of cortek who makes all of them - another good look.

If money is no option, get something like a music man majesty. I've heard good about the sterling versions. These boomer guitars suck and I can't recommend them.
