so you got a shot to live again and get as far as you want to.

Hopefully by the time I get close to the age where you'd consider cryonics, there would be some sort of progress in anti aging tech to make it not our only hope @Hipcel

But if I was old now, I probably would

Do only the rich have medicine? Do only the rich have smartphones? No one benefits from an aging population.

those pharma drug makers probably gonna milk it off the every people.......

btw, every probably deserves to live again especially if their lives are shits......

They can‘t even bring a healthy young lab dog, that only got killed to be crypnized, back to life after they froze it.

What do you expect them to do with a deceased braindead age-ridden corpse?

There is no and never will be a panacea.

Ignorant comment and @incel194012940 for liking it. They can revive whole mammal organs like kidneys, transplant them - and they work.

The most exciting area of RESEARCH right now is the use of helium persufflation, which means pumping cold gas through the vasculature to achieve much faster cooling than before.

Here's the start up.

You seem to be missing the point of cryonics. No one's promising you'll be revived in a post aging world. They're telling you there's a chance, as opposed to buried or burnt like the rest of the sheep do.

You don't just die because one organ isn't working anymore, it is the shutdown of your entire system, damaging the entire body during it. Especially if you die because of old age. Something that can't be reversed.

I'd understand the hype if they were able to freeze you, and bring you back to life a few months/weeks later. But if they can't even do that, what do you expect them to achieve in the future?

First they have to figure out how to not kill you during the procedure, which is impossible as the body needs oxygen to work which isn't provided. And coincidentally, oxygen is the same thing that progressively breaks down your cells.

What? The whole idea of cryonics is that they'll revive you after age reversal.

Cryonics starts after you die. You don't even understand the basics.

#1 they can't even revive you, even if they knew a cure for age.
#2 If it was possible, don't you think they would have presented animal studies where they did the procedure on perfectly healthy animals and then revived them afterwards as a proof of concept?

you're retarded, sorry. Cryonics is the modern form of mummification. Sold to gullible idiots that can't cope with the most basic rule of life - everything dies at some point.

How do you know how far advanced technology will be in the future you stupid idiot?
They can already revive whole animal organs and they work. Like I said, there's already research going.

This is coming from someone that didn't even know that cryonics is done right after a person dies. Just fuck off brainlet. No one wants to read your low IQ takes.
According to The New York Times, cryonicists are predominantly non-religious white males, outnumbering women by about three to one.[55] According to The Guardian, as of 2008, while most cryonicists used to be young, male, and "geeky", recent demographics have shifted slightly towards whole families.[41]
Utter moron.
