I'll be honest, I'd say I 'ascended' from sub5 (largely self-induced, I think I have a fine genetic base) to mtn/hmtn. I get attention from women who I find attractive now, so I'd say I am definitely satisfied with the effort I put in, and would call it an ascension.

Sub 5 up until 17, I started looksmaxxing around 15/16 but I wasn't taking it as seriously until senior year. 18, I'd say I was mtn, and now at 19, after growing out my hair, I'd say hmtn. Ngl growing out my hair helped me ascend, and I'd consider it nichemaxxing as well because it has its own unique appeal

It's important to note that it also depends on your genetic base and what your flaws are. For example, the ascensions that stand out the most are when people lose weight. You could be chadlite and having a fat, acne-ridden face can bring you down to ltn/sub5. That's why many of us see fat people as fakecels until they leanmaxx and see their actual base rating

In my opinion the most likely true ascensions come from either:

Someone with a good base softmaxxing and doing normie shit
Surgerymaxxing as a sub5

Whilst I'd never consider cosmetic surgery, I have nothing against and no sort of judgement towards those who think that it's the best route to ensure their happiness. Especially people who are sub5.
