you can get everything you need to make it from like temu or aliexpress or some other cheap area + a doctors checking on you is useless since most of the time you will be the one expanding / screwing the screws and if somthing happens to you a doctor wont just be able to reverse the damages all he can do is let it heal and than remove it and the gap you will get from it is going to close on its own unless you already had bite problems
