Anyone know Coceancigs prices, and would I be able to get anything covered by insurance when in Australia?

So I’m thinking about going to Coceancig for super bimax, but I’m not sure at all what my budget should be. Will hospital stay be expensive? Is the super bimax itself over $30k? I don’t even know how to get coverage from insurance when visiting Australia, would I be looking at paying over $60K, or is $35k-$50K a reasonable budget for a foreigner getting bimax there?

Yeah but I need my palate expanded plus bimax ccw with genio, do you think I could just have my palate expanded in Canada covered by healthcare and then go to someone in Italy for bimax ccw w genio

For foreigners it is $80,000 AUD to $120,000 AUD depending on what you do (this is what I was quoted in my consult with Coceancig, I found him sleazy / desperate salesman).

$25,000 for Australians. It is extremely high priced even for them who usually pay closer to $8,000 with other surgeons.

I don’t think his work is particularly special compared to other surgeons. He is just good at marketing.

Btw I am not sure if this includes hospital and anaesthetist. My guess? It was his surgeons fee alone. Because rhino doctors charge a surgeons fee of 15,000 in Sydney excluding hospital and anaesthetist. Expect to pay $2000-3000 for each.

Also I don’t think he is just charging a premium because he is ‘better’ than others. He charges $3000 AUD for a cone beam CT scan which other surgeons will do for $150 lol. He seems to be money hungry.

And no, your insurance will not cover foreign surgeries of that nature unless it’s emergency reconstructive surgery.

Yes. Also there are Italian surgeons who do similar things like widening the mandible (Pagnoni does) but they’re just more risky. So you can achieve a similar aesthetic result if you like Coceancigs work.

Makes the jaw look wider/more square. It can cause TMJ issues/pain. Coceancig and Pagnoni do it as a part of their bimax. They claim they don’t widen it more than what is safe but there is always a small risk.

Is Pagnoni around the same price as Raffaini? Like $30K range for a ccw bimax? And would widening my mandible cost more or would it still be around $30K?

Pags is a good surgeon. Ramieri is good. Idk much about Raffaini and what all he does. Zarrinbal is good I think. Mommaerts who knows. Alfaro is a goat but pricey

Some people have been quoted 10-15k Euro all inclusive for bimax from various surgeons you mentioned.
