I train ppl R ul R and i want to be able to put in some calesthenics work in there, specifically want to progress on doing skills.

Weighted Pull Ups and Dips are a good place to start. That’s what I’m doing right now on my path to perform a muscle up.

how do you structure it? when do you do them

I’ll recommend you do basic calis/compound lifts together

For example, if you wanna do back day

-pull ups (basic cali)
-rows (can be done cali or as a a compound lift, depending on your goals)
-reverse flies (machine/weights)
-face pulls

These 4 exercises will hit your back effectively (excluding lower back)

Now if you want to advance at skills(like front lever, l-sit, muscle ups, etc.)

I would recommend to put it pretty much always at the beginning of the workout

(I.e. what you wanna improve the most train it first)

Personal example I would be doing rn like for a pushday

1. skill training (I chose 1 of these 3)
-human flag (not really push but wtw)
-planche tuck
-handstand holds

2. chest
-benchpress
-decline pushups

3. shoulder
-handstand pushups (pike pushups work)
-shoulder raises

4.triceps
-dips
-isolated triceps extensions

This is just a example, adjust the amount and intensity to your liking

Hope this helps, any questions just ask
