whenever I’m Ina conversation I overthink it and then I don’t know what to say

not gonna lie most people have 0 benefits to even speaking to, i likely have better social skills (NO hate to you) and i prefer to just stay quiet

outside of that, i recommend just compliments- don’t say “i like your shoes” when they’re talking with a group, do it when they just look uninterested and bored with whatever they’re doing. if you make someone feel better they’ll automatically be inclined to like you more
