Why am I not seeing visual progress despite doing everything right :feelswhy:

I train close to failure, eat enough protein, get a ton of sleep, progressive overload and all that shit

I see zero gains bro it’s been 2 months :feelswhy:

I have love handles and shit so I’m trying to deficit (have lost 8lbs) so maybe I’m not consuming enough calories? Idk help

Yeah I was thinking of biting the bullet and just running test

But it’s probably a retard idea cause I need to figure out my limiting factor first so I can make more gains on the test cycle

If you are not gaining muscle or strength, then it is because you are not eating enough.

keep cutting until ur not skinnyfat anymore then bulk with a 200-300 surplus you shouldnt gain much fat (if u bulk now ur gonna look like shit, your insulin sensitivity will go to shit also)

also ur not gaining strength or muscle rn cuz ur in a deficit once u bulk you should gain a good amount

What’s your stats? Why your macros? Your cardio? Your split ? Your total volume ?

pretty sure its a myth except maybe in cases of tren but even with tren ive used that before and didnt get any muscle in a cut so i doubt you'd get any natty

Are you incorporating cardio? Sounds like you're hitting a plataeu. It is physically impossible for you to be eating a deficit and not be losing body weight. No one is above thermodynamics.

8 lbs in 3 weeks is a big deficit just focus on losing fat and keeping that strength its normal to not see noticeable muscle gains with that big of a deficit even as a beginner

Sometimes you need to take a reset and refeed. You want to temporarily increase levels of leptin. As your body tries to continue to get rid of fat it gets harder to build muscle. Body is only good to do one thing at a time, or jsut roid.

By volume I mean your reps and sets

I aim for 500 under my maintenance

My program is ULR, i go to failure or 1 RIR on all sets
Upper:
Incline bench 2x6-8 reps
pec fly 2x 6-8
Lat pulldown 2x6-8
Seated cable row 2x6-8
Lateral raises
Preacher curl
triceps pushdown

It might be a lot of volume but I seem to recover fine because strength goes up (except on lateral raises and tricep pushdown that shit never goes up)

2 months is nothing nigger. If you are natty gonna wait. After a year you will see progress and feel happy. Then you step outside in a t shirt and you still look like a regular nigga. 1 year has gone by, you spent hours and money in the gym for that when testosterone vials are cheaper than gym memberships. But yh pretty much keep training optimally not excessive volume and when you actually progressively overload and get strong you’ll see some results. If anyone responds dnr to this thread I’ll goon 3 more times and then rope.

maintain calories or prob 100 surplus not worth it to sac newbie gains for whatever if ur on a deficit dont expect any muscle ur breaking it the fuck down dude

It’s great volume, start prioritizing carbs before your training, intra training and post training and you will see how your gains are increasing.

Keep the deficit at 500.

If your lateral raises and tricep pushdown never increase you’re doing something wrong because even for me that I do FB 3 times a week my last exercises still go up every week. Start putting these two exercises first in the session, if your other exercises after these two don’t up or even go down, then lower the volume
