its a self hate, because of the way society views people who have plastic surgery. Thats why most people have to lie not only to others but also to themselves that they actually need it for practical reasons like that you had it but something took it from you and now you want it back.

I got my nose broken in a fight when I was 17, I have a diverted septum, nasal hump and trouble breathing. Maybe theyre being genuine, it’s really easy to break your nose.
