Anyone tried really high reps, high frequency for delts?

Suppose you did 500 to 1000 reps a day, 5 days a week, with really light weight for lateral raises, what would be the results? Decent hypertrohpy, nothing at all, or snap city? The calisthenics thread got me thinking this might be a viable approach

I did 100 lateral raises each side with 25lbs for 2 months and got great results. All my female friends mentioned it. Sadly no lays cuz my face is forever fat.
 
what's considered light weight for side lateral raises?

For tons of reps every day probably between 2.5 and 10 pounds
Yep, everyday. Was super sore in the beginning but after a while not even.
