it's mainly for people who have aggressive HL, or for people who are just really, really desperate. Yes dutasteride works better than fin but that's b/c it's stronger. Because it's stronger, it also tends to have nastier sides. There's a reason trannies use this. But for most people w/ HL, finasteride works just fine

Damn. I didnt know trannies use it. And tbh I used to take it for a while a few years ago. Guess I'll go for finasteride this time. I'm noticing My hair Is thinning fast lately.

Damn that's sad to know. Though in some people suggestion plays a Big role. Don't know if this is your case. Only certain way of being sure Is to get an exam to check your dht levels

When I used to take it years ago I took one capsule about twice a week as a way to get less side effects and also because is fairly expensive in comparison to Finasteride.

brain fog is a side effect for both dut and finasteride, tho I'd imagine it'd be more prevalent w/ dut b/c it's stronger

you're right, they usually prescribe fin to keep what you do have, even after a hair transplant. But the hairs that have been transplanted will be there forever essentially, they are not prone to thinning in the same way your old hairs are. So if you have the money and your donor region is good, you could avoid ever taking fin by doing nothing but hair transplants. I feel like this is what Elon Musk did but who knows, he may be on finasteride (public figures generally avoid admitting they're on finateride)

I just researched fin and it seems well tolerated by most people and is well studied. The cocktail of drugs you’re using to avoid using fin seems counterproductive in my unprofessional opinion. However as you and others noted Dutasteride is probably too much

Saved my hair, took around 8 months, I did use it combined with dermapen but u should do it as well anyways. I take 1 pill a week sometimes every 12-14 days
