Is anyone here using Tazarotene with Isotretinoin? I have been on Isotretinoin like 2 years ago, 20mg daily for 6 months and it completly cleared my skin. Like 6 months ago I started Tazarotene 0.1% and using it daily till now, but recently started having a bit of break outs (prob due to roids + shitty diet) so I’m thinking of starting 10mg Iso ED again as a prevention for acne. Can I still use Taz on it or should I drop it.

Yep will try and see ig, maybe drop the taz to 3x/week. Taz ain’t doing much anyways, Iso mogs.

nah my skin handled it pretty well taz does gives you that faggot glow tho am ngl, i used to layer it before with moisturizer but after titration i stopped using moisturizer too, as of the skin condition it really got rid all of the previous acne bumps and new acne breakouts which am sure running isotret alongside helped too

Taz is pretty nuclear on the skin, but at that low dosage of accutane it doesn’t matter

Just make sure you get a good moisturiser along with it

Taz I felt was much stronger than tretinoin

I'd wake up with a new layer of skin and shed the old one like a reptile

That was happening to me too in the beginning, now nothing. But I still use sandwich method so idk if it’s as effective.

I dont really see the point of sandwiching, you want the active ingredient in the skin, just add extra moisturizer on top to avoid Sahara-maxxing
