we arent sure if there will be a season 2, the director wrote all of the episodes as well. it was very time consuming for him. writing the first 2 episodes took half a year alone to do. hes also currently working on a movie not related to the show so it wont be realistic to expect a second season anytime soon. maybe in a few years. i feel bad for the pakistani character because he really trusted the south korean guy but he ended up fucking him over.

have you seen i saw the devil? if not get on it. lee byung-hun, the actor who plays the front man, is the main character of that movie. its technically a thriller but its so dark that its considered horror. in squid game they actually gave away a big hint before revealing who the front man was. the episode before the reveal, the two younger women made a reference to the actor with the mojito line. i got chills when we saw the face reveal because i immediately recognized it was him. that director was very clever.
