What do u reccomend for a statusmaxxedish volcel with depression and anxiety

I'm pretty sure Bupropion doesn't help anxiety very much.
I've heard pussies aren't very stimulating and with Sertraline you WILL feel less in your dick so huge chance you go soft in a bitch.
Not a problem for be because I'm gonna be off it before my last hardmax but seriously. Do NOT take Zoloft if you're fucking.

I've been on nearly every major antidepressant. The answer mostly depends on what you need it for (anxiety or ocd or depression, all the above, etc) and what type of sides you're willing to tolerate

I need it mostly for depression and ocd but i struggle with anxiety too sometimes. Im probably willing to tolerate anything but weight gain, and i heard that u get dry mouth and eyes also?

ty for this bro now i am getting on it with ssri lol. and asking my shrink for pde 5. unfortunately i got ocd and either max dose fluoxetine and sertraline bring any relief and make life livable and even then my depression rated severe still doesnt improve. havent been on meds so long now

Then ya you probably should try an SSRI. Lexapro and Zoloft are the ones that docs usually pump out first. Prozac is a good option too. Personally the one that worked for me was Paxil, which I'm currently on but plan to get off soon.

Then ya you probably should try an SSRI. Lexapro and Zoloft are the ones that docs usually pump out first. Prozac is a good option too. Personally the one that worked for me was Paxil, which I'm currently on but plan to get off soon.

just start zoloft and go from there. titrate up to 100mg after 2 weeks and start on 50mg, unless youre very somatic first week 25mg

Clomipramine and nortriptyline tend to be activating. As for orthostatic hypotension it often goes away after a while. Also MAOIs are renowned for orthostatic hypotension.. I have been on them I almost fainted while standing up on them too fast LOL..

clomipramine really fucked my shit up, would never recommend it to anyone ever. and you can get pretty forceful sert inhibition from max dose ssri and even extending past the max with much less side effects, why go for this disgusting shit that will dry you out, make you fall, hungry and sedated? never tried nortryptiline tho, and yeah never tried maoi lol

I was on Alventa (venlafaxine). Thought I had depression but I was just undiagnosed ND thats why it didnt really have an impact on me.

yes but go to a psychiatrist trust me. they will give you the same thing and some things like switching or augmenting really need a lot of research to understand and they will most likely prescribe it to you unless you ask for premipexole or smth lol. you can also start fluoxetine first if you need something activating, but you said you are anxious too so wouldnt recommend it

Trazodone technically isnt a TCA. Idk how good of an antidepressant it is, but it helped a bit for sleep

Yeah helps with sleep but the high doses are untolerable. its like 300mg for a solid ad effect and even then doesnt work for ocd useless drug for ad

It metabolizes into mCPP too which is a dysphoric(pro-depressive) drug.

Different for everyone in severity, bipolar and unipolar depression can be just as bad and severe or hard to treat.. psychotic depression is often different though it often benefits from pro-dopaminergic drugs. I got ultra rapid cycling bipolar unfortunately it often creates extreme treatment resistant depression...

If there’s no attempt to assess the neurochemical and neuro-immunological status, it is at the very least questionable to simply put someone on antidepressants and leave it at that.
Like any pharmacologically active medication, they’re also toxicologically relevant.
Your gut and mitochondrial health are major factors for developing Depression.
Now guess what damages both of them in susceptible individuals.

It’s true however you can definitely push for what you want and get something else as long as it makes sense, even if it’s off label or second line normally. But most people don’t do their own research so that’s why they just get put on sertraline usually.
