Anyone’s mother jealous/hate on them?

Serious, I was starting to get more confident and went out to an event where there were lots of people. One of my moms friends gets nervous around intimidating guys and I was becoming more confident/intimidating (not in an autistic way I know the difference). Later I came to a family event where moms friend was there and she was like hiding out a bit not wanting to say hi, and then they turned when I came in (3 women) and my mom gave me a dirty ish look. I’ve only seen the same look from a jealous friend when he saw me get something good when he was hating.

I don’t wanna misjudge, but was my own mother hating on me? These chances to see people’s characters are rare because you can’t truly tell what people think. I would just hope I’m wrong.
