Anything I should know about Adderall before I take it?

Would prefer to only hear from those who've taken Adderall before. I'm getting it prescribed most likely tomorrow or within this week.

I'm sure there'll be a few things I have to provide medically (or maybe not) in order to assure I'm fit to take it but I'm wondering what the effects were like for those who have ADHD.

I don't have anxiety though I just can't focus on anything and have had a lot of issues in the past. I don't wanna be nodding off while trying to focus on something.

Have you done Ritalin before? I assume Adderall has a much more crack like effect seeing as it has real amphetamines in it whereas Ritalin is methylphenidate.

i didnt take it but my friend did take all 3 of the about xanax adderall and ritalin. Ritalin did not do shit its byfar the worst one here i used to snort both adderall and ritalin never touched xanax but saw the effects i can most definately say that adderall is worth it if you havfe adhd more than anything

yes for my adhd

im aware that adderall has a significantly longer half life than ritalin too, so id assume depending on dosages the effects would be both much longer lasting and stronger than what i experience on ritalin.

from my experiences on ritalin it just makes everything a lot more peaceful in my mind so its always a lot easier to focus when doing tasks or going about my daily routine. i get tired too (aka crashes) a couple hours after taking ritalin as well

dont take it , it will take you down the rabbit hole . You will lose a lot of weight ( 15-30 lbs ) , have sleep issues, and you will get focused on your distractions. Sure someitmes you can. be productive on it but I find caffeine to be better

You can focus but if you have ditstractoins or random ideas in your head you will just get focused on those and go on deep tangents. If you cant focus without aderall you cant focus ever. Just drink more cofee and hope for the best
