Anyway to get Afro hair to lay down?

My hair sticks up is there anyway to get it to lay down my hair looks like this it’s 3c/4a any way to fix it I need it to cover my forehead

I am pretty sure that I am also 3c/4a, probably closer to 4a, and it covers my forehead. I think it just has to be long enough.

Oh yeah I do something similar and pick my hair out under running water with this in my hair

and use this
