Can someone familiar with the witcher say how much the show deviated from the source material

The Witcher is based in polish folk-lord so there really aren’t many non-whites except for like the Oferi which are ethnic but otherwise most people are white. Though there is still racism as “non-humans” face discrimination like the dwarves and elves.

In the show there are a bunch of ethnics for no reason. Characters that used to be white in the books and games are just black now for no reason.

The books mainly focused on geralt and his adventures while the show spends too much screen time on the ethnic sorceresses instead of the WITCHER you are watching the show for jfl.

They removed all the unique aspects of the witcher universe that differentiates it from other fantasy IPs in order to appeal to a wider audience. Netflix just sees the Witcher as their game of thrones.

In season 2, they arrived on the witchers' hiding place. It was supposed to be a secret place and witchers are supposed to be emotionless. Except in the show, they appeared like massively retarded emotonal retards. Then they ordered a bunch of whores to the place in pure frat-bro fashion, just so they can make the show more like Game of Thrones. Then they killed a main character for no reason.
