I‘m currently on Week 6 of my Testosterone Cycle (400 mg weekly split into EOD Injections) and I‘m experiencing severe appetite suppression for the last two weeks which is probably related to the Cycle.

Unfortunately, this makes it extremely hard for me to eat and therefore put on mass. Anyone else experiencing the same effect?

Doesnt sound like something test does, have you previously taken hgh or anything similar for long times? It seems also very possible for you to have taken too much ai

I’m on Testosterone only at the moment and haven’t taken any Ancillaries, AI’s or HGH. I almost feel as if on a GLP-1, which isn’t what I need at all

I guess my only hypothesis is that you have some weird genetics like fuck ton of shgb, loose bbb, a fuck ton of intranurals ar's

And then as a result your diet is supressed by the dopamine, but it still sound liek that shouldnt happen on test, especially not on normal dosages. Do you feel very stimulated?

High in Protein and Fat, Decent amounts of Carbs (Usually eaten before Gym) in terms of Macros. I don’t have any Micronutrient deficiencies and make sure to take supplements.

its hard to tell maybe excess fat consumption causing the problem

Interesting Hypothesis. Methinks that my sleep medication has something to do with it, since it is an (((SSRI)))

I have no clue how Antidepressives and Androgens in combination affect Brain Chemistry though

I’m aware, but I never had that side effect. I know that Androgens affects GABA Receptors and Dopamine Signalling but idk how this causes appetite suppression paired with an SSRI

I mean they dont really interact and ibstead work on different neurotransmitters, but it seems more likely to just be the side of the ssri coming in, this is since 400 test isnt a ton and test itself isnt super strong in the brain, it would seem more likely if it was tren or ment or sdrol but not test

Also enanthate should saturate in ish 3-4 weeks so if it was related you shoulve gotten it before

Maybe I’m wrong, but I do believe Testosterone affects Serotonin as well. Besides, braincells don’t work in isolation, changes in Dopamine or Serotonin probably affect each other.

I don’t know about that, it’s my first cycle and I don’t have any hands on experience. Only noticed any effects (Regeneration, Drive etc.) after the 4 Week Mark, coinciding with my loss of appetite.

They do but not too much for it to be relevant in this context, and having more balanced neurotransmitters should make you feel more normal rather than the opposite, and test is not affecting dopsmine here as much as ssri likely

Either way, now you know how to save money on GLP-1s! A Pack of Trazodone will set you back less than 20€ and last for at least 6 Months, if not longer.
