even while LARPing as 6'1. I'm at my leanest right now, with visible abs in the morning (so the photos I sent were taken first thing as I woke up). Ghosted from one, and two said I didn't have the look they wanted.

Meanwhile @colesp and some random HTN with one striking feature (zygos) I found got in for at least one agency.

You could try commercial modeling instead of high fashion.
In addition to the lack of high cheekbones, you may also not be ethnic enough for the ethnic niche in high fashion

Commercial models can also include good looking people. Things like beverage ads, product ads etc

You need to model for free sometimes to build up the portofolio. When you have build up the portofolio you can go apply for a bigger gig. After some time you can switch to bigger agency after having a good portofolio.

If it is an agency especially for beginners, they may want to guide him. but I find it weird that he was invited when he doesn't look like the model standards on that video.
