So I just did my First aqualyx Session, not as hard or dangerous as some people think it is. Im already pretty lean so I went for 1ml each cheek with a Short 6mm needle (since the fat layer isnt thick). It doesnt actually hurt Bad at all, I Mixed it with 0,5% lidocaine which I wouldnt do again because its not needed and I just wasted 6ml of aqualyx. Since the reaction is so mild I Plan on Doing another Session Next Week with 2ml. For people who have experience with this, would you recommend the second Session or wait 3-4 weeks? Also Are there actually people who were already pretty lean and just had a Bit of fat? How did it work for you? Visible results after one Session?

I don’t know many things about aqualyx, but mirin if you did it

I could but it really isnt that hard, i suggest practicing just with the needle without any aqualyx, so you get a feeling for your Subq fat layer, if you do it Slow you can definitely feel it. But if youre lean a 6mm needle at roughly 45 degrees wont do any harm. Especially if you do mild Dose (0.1-0.2ml per injection Point. I only hit a blood vessel once, bled for two minutes and Nothing Else

Got a tutorial or sm? lowkey dont wanna paralyse my face

what should i buy?
Depends How thick your fat layer is and what you are targeting. If youre Doing subcutaneous cheek fat like me I recommend 27g 6mm needles and you inject at a 45 degree angle. You will be safely in the subcutaneous layer if you put the needle in fully at that angle

do not do 27g do 30-31g, there is no benefit, only more bleeding and pain using a thicker needle. you do not need to inject at 45 degrees, its more important to be consistent, just pinch its the best way to gaurantee subcutaneous injection

27g worked Fine for me, but 30 might be better. If you ar at 13% your fat layer will likely be somewhere around 5-8mm thick in the cheek. I wouldnt inject at 90 degrees, sure 60 will als be fine if you stay consistent, you want to inject every Spot at roughly the same Depth for even results, so I just did 6mm needle at roughly 45 and always put the needle in fully.

you cannot estimate how thick the subq layer is on a specific part of the face just based off body fat %, its much more reliable to lift the skin/subq fat away from the deeper muscles/tissue. i recommend 90 degrees because it is easier to be consistent, with the needle angled directly perpendicular. lets say you have 40 injection points and the aqualyx is meant to be spaced 1cm apart. trying to angle every point at 45 or 60 degrees yourself so that the aqualyx is delivered exactly 1cm apart is much more difficult.

yes stick the full needle in so it is delivered at the same depth 6mm.

Well you can roughly guess the thickness if you measure your pinch in the Area you want to treat with a caliper, I am at 12% bodyfat and had a pinch in the submalar Zone of 13mm, so the subcutaneous layer would be roughly 6mm. If you go in at 90 degrees and put the needle in fully you might puncture your fascia or inject too close to it, which would give less fat reduction and more irritation/side Effects.

Soo i pinch the dot i marked and lift it up then inject in that dot? Or lift the side of it then inject in that dot

You want to pinch and Lift the skin a Bit to avoid hitting anything important, all the important nerves and blood vessels sit deeper. Then inject into the dot you marked. Pinching also makes the needle go in better and with less pain. I still wouldnt recommend 90 degrees of youre lean tho.
