Arab people get mad when referred to as brown

Are Arab people considered brown I can’t find a concise answer on google, so I guess I better question would be “do you consider Arab people as brown?”. Every time I call my Arab friends brown they get angry.
of course we get angry
and no we are not browns they literally work for us

I’m not Arab but I lived there for a while, they aren’t like Indians or Pakis at all I mean maybe you could find people that looks similar but literally not even close and most of them are nice actually
theyre worse

Never ask a spic, why does the Southwest have Spanish names or why Puerto Rico is part of the United States.

The answer to the question of why the Southwest has a lot of places that are named in Spanish is pretty simple.

Spaniard explorers named these places. Yet there was never much of a Hispanic population in the Southwest historically (a lot of the places were simply named while an explorer passed through)

When Anglos won the conquest for the Southwest, we didn't feel the need to change the existing names. Yet we named plenty of new places after Anglos (in Texas alone, there's Dallas, Houston, McAllen, Harlingen, Fort Worth, Tyler, Austin)
