Anything under 5'10 is death tier when it comes to height
Anything under 6'0 is short

Just normal, I’d say. Average to slightly below for the US and within most of Europe.

For dating, it’s ok-ish. People here massively exaggerate the average height of most countries.
Generally they do with most things.

Up to 6’1 - 6’2 gives massive bonus points, then the impact of further height rapidly diminishes

Anecdotally though, everyone’s social circle seems to average around 185-190 cm, which contradicts most reliable data we have.
Take Austria, for example- a country with a population primarily of German descent, where men are measured for military service. Even there, the average height didn’t quite reach 180 cm.

The idea that height is still rapidly increasing in wealthy societies isn’t really backed by statistical evidence. Actually, it plateaus or only marginally increases.

I agree, that women desire taller than average men though. However you aren’t completely hopeless by being marginally below average.

I agree that you still have a chance if you’re slightly below average. That is if you can compensate for it in some way.
