are anti ageing cremes a scam?

never seen anyone post about these cremes here, must mean that its bs
and their also pretty expensive, around 10€ or so.
but their easy to get so i was wondering if they are a huge cope or actually legit, when you start using them in your 20's.

Generally yes with the exception of Retin A

Vitamine C, Retinol and Acids really work also spf factor. You have to use them frequentl. But still the most important factor is a healthy lifestyle.

It’s an antioxidant, which may prevent aging. But it’s better to stick with proven stuff like Retinoids (Tretinoin, Tazarotene, Retinol), Vitamin C, and exfoliating acids (AHAs and BHAs)

anti aging like Q 10 , hyaluronic acid, works as anti oxydants . they aren't cope it give the skin a plump effect and deeply moisturize it. They aren't enough by their own , but coupled with tretinoin, vitamin C is god tier skin preventing care.

A lot of OTC anti aging creams contain retinol, which is similar to tretinoin in its mechanism of action, albeit weaker.
