are biotin drops a good alternative for minoxidil?

im only 15 and dont rlly wanna be taking minoxidil at this age, considering its side effects, would biotin oral drops be a good alternative, i wanna grow out my hair to something like the pictures attached. got a buzz in september and its been growing back super slow, which is weird cus it usually grows back really fast. id also like to mention that after my buzz cut, my hair changed textures—from curly to wavy/straightish—is notmal? its happened to a couple of ppl that ik.

From what I’ve heard biotin shampoo is something women use when their hair starts to thin and helps a lot, but keep in mind your body itself produces biotin naturally, using a high concentration shampoo may have your body become dependent on it

oh okay thanks for clearing that up. my mom was taking biotin pills for a week and she was talking about how it made her grow her hair super fast, so i was just wondering.
