Are braces always a requirement post-pre bimax?

Assuming I've already had orthodontic work done by a bluepilled orthodontist and worn braces for 3 years, would I still need to wear them in case I decide to get a bimax or bsso? My teeth look good and straight, just a bit of crookedness left on the bottom palate.

I imagine the answer by default is yes, but it could also differ on a case-by-case basis. Maybe ask your surgeon.

idk if this is a good or bad thing for me, i have braces now and i wanna do bimax double jaw surgery after im done with mse. Idk tho.
