Are braces going to descend me or ascend me or do nothing?

15M, my teeth have gaps and I think I’m getting braces, it may be braces or Invisalign or whatever, what will they do? What’s the best option?

i also got braces at 15 and they really safed my face. I got palate expanders a herbstscharnier etc and without it id be recessed af.

as long as ur orthodontist really knows what hes doing getting braces is a good investment.

very true, they get paid to make the teeth straight not to look after the effects on your overall face. thats why the choice of the doctor really matters

can you explain a bit more, I don’t want to be 20 and look like a geek with braces as a grown ass adult. I don’t know what to do but I look awkward when talking because of my front teeth gaps

Straight teeth will be important to your facial structure either way. Get through braces and if you seriously believe it impacted your bone structure in a negative way, there are other medical appliances or procedures you can use afterward.
