Are braces okay in your 20's for spaced out teeth?

Mine isn't this bad lol, the lower teeth aren't this spaced out, the upper are tho. I asked my dentist about how much time would i need to wear braces for this, she said 1 year is plenty. Would braces cuck some facial bone alignment at my age of almost 23?

it does help align if you have a severe underbite, though its not op's cases. but braces can cause nasolabial folds

JFC your jaw will NOT fucking change if they close the gap between your teeth.

Wisdom teeth extraction will also have no effect on your jaw.

I don't know about premolar extractions however, watch out for that.
