Are braces worth it?

One of my front teeth is pushed forward bc of my impacted canine tooth. Other than that my teeth are fine. I wanted to get invisalign but apparently it can't be used in my situation. It's not like I look good without braces but at the same time I don't want to look even more retarted than I already do for 1~ year. Should I get them or not? If I do I'll get clear ones not metal ones.

If your teeth are fucked then definitely. Best to do while younger when other people will have them too

They're not really fucked up but one of my front teeth is very forward compared to the other. I'm 22

22 is later than most people you'd see with braces but its not that bad tbh. Ask girls you know/ family if they think you should get braces, because all dentists will say yes so they can get paid. If you get them, just smile without teeth in photos for a year or something and no one will really notice. Good looking without braces = good looking with braces, and better looking after you take them off

I have another option to get my impacted tooth removed instead of getting it into it's right place, since my primary canine tooth is still intact I can just live with that or get an implant. So then I can use invisalign to push my front tooth back. But that's more expensive and I would lose my actual tooth.

Don't get the tooth removed, probably the worst of the options. At 22 most people you'll meet are mature enough to not care if you've got braces, and most of the time your mouth is closed so people can't even tell, so it's not much of a looksmin. If you think the impacted tooth is bad enough, then go for the braces. Having teeth out of place will usually get worse in the future if not treated, so its probably a good idea if you don't want your teeth to look fucked in 5-10 years

Yeah you're right. Losing a tooth this early would be really bad. It's just that I'm already insecure about my looks and just as I started looksmaxing this feels like taking a step back in term of looks. I have a appointment tomorrow to get my teeth cleaned and soon I'll probably get braces. Tysm bro
