I dont know (or care) about studies but to me light eyes always looked much more dominant because you can see their irises when they are looking at you. Brown eyes hide the iris so they don’t nearly have this sharp agressive gaze, just a blob of darkness

Asians, Indians, and Africans can get away with having brown eyes because of its typicality to their phenotypes. Regardless, light colored eyes on these groups would still be extremely striking and would give rarity halo.
