Bullies in real life are not insecure, they are confident and bully insecure people. It’s the other way around on the internet, incels use anonymity to shit on people who would maul and tear them apart in real life, to cope with anger issues they get from constantly getting their ego crushed in real life

It's mostly cope based on my experience. The popular kids would bully the ugly kids. They would also get good grades and went to higher education and have good careers and are now living a normal life. The bullied kids did poorly in school, end up incel, drug addicts, in dead end jobs etc

However within the ugly low status groups in school there would sometimes be insider bullying, so for the incel on incel bullying the bullies would definitely be insecure.

From my observations it's almost never the most popular kids who do the bullying, but the insecure middle-classes who constantly feel like they need to protect their place in the social hierarchy.
