Are canthoplastys dangerous?

I’ve heard on this sub that canthoplasties are dangerous and have bad results later on in life. Is this true?

Most surgeries are dangerous, especially the ones that remove tissue/organs like the appendix or vesicles... Our body is a system in which every single part is essential.
