1. If you look at wrestling it incorporates high intensity cardio, sprints, push and pull movements and a wide range of different body positions.
2. Boxing focuses on high in.cardio aswell, severe core strength, balance and constant movement, and explosive strength from the core hips and shoulders.
3. Brazilian jiu jitsu brings you the world of grip strength and high intensity scrambles (Especially in the gi). Similar to wrestling there’s a constant push and pull motion on your upper body, aswell as multiple sprints throughout the rounds.
4. MMA, which incorporates all of this. That’s why I think the average mma recreational participant has a below average body fat % due to all these training styles incorporated into one sport
