Are contacts worth it if you do t look that bad in glasses?

There are studies that show wearing contacts make your eye skin sag. I understand wearing them if glasses make you look subhuman but if you look alright in glasses is it worth it?

I’ve had people irl and on this forum day my glasses aren’t too bad but the point of thread is are contacts worth the risk?

You pry your eye apart every time you take them in or out that’s gotta add up over time

Maybe if you wear it 24/7. Just wear them when you’re going out or driving tbh. But the more likely reason is because your under eye area is already quite weak.

ive seen it can be minimized if you're more careful with how you put them on and take em off though

Yeah don’t do that. I’m guessing the ptosis is caused from that rather than the actual contact lenses. Unless you’re unlucky and get some infection.

Yeah that’s the thing you have to pry your eyelids apart to put them in and out I highly doubt the lens hurts your eyelids

I’ve read that the best way to put them in is by opening your eyes as wide as possible naturally and then ever so slightly pushing your eyelids.

I've only ever known one person who looked better with glasses. He wears contacts now and he still looks really good, without any stereotypes of having glasses like you're a nerd.
So they probably is reducing your looks.

Yeah they’re def not helping but my eye area is actually my strongest halo I have hooded blue eyes with slight positive canthal tilt. If contacts make my eyelids start dropping then I just ruined my best feature
