Are cornrows still meta while growing ur hair out if u wanna slay

Brahs I'm growing my hair out so that I can get two strand twists, I got enough length for cornrows but not enough for two strands. If I get two strands now it will just look weird. @PrinceLuenLeoncur @klip11 @FaceandBBC

When you say two strands I'm gonna assume you're talking about french braids but yeah I hear it's best to have multiple strands when growing hair out. I use to get multiple strands and hated since I looked ghetto and retarded with em. I just get it french braided now since it's pretty long and haven't gotten a haircut in years.

yh cornrows is good protective style that still looks good + can still get a line up

Whats your experience with it, I wanna get it but feel like it brings my appeal down. Normally I just have a taper fade

i usually rock a taper fade with a curl sponge but occasionally i get cornrows (only when i have a fresh cut). i think i look slightly better when my hair is out, but i've had 2 strand twists before and they boosted my appeal crazy. unfortunately my mom made me cut them off so i have to start my hair growth journey again. right now im just waiting for it to reach a decent length for two strands as my hair is still kinda short.

Yeah same I’m thinking about getting the pop smoke braids until I have enough for two strands tbh I realized that cornrows would look terrible with my skull
