Are corvettes a good car or cringe?

I always felt like a C8 corvette is a cringey car for boomers in a mid life crisis who cashed out their IRA to buy a poor man's ferrari. But recently a lot of rappers and NT young guys are getting them so having a second opinion. Thought?
