Are doing push ups and pull ups itself effective ?

Like doing 40 push ups every day am I getting stronger or is it worth anything plus some pull ups 30 around a day + the mentioned 40 push ups is it enough itself ? Im already kinda lean used to go to the gym 3 days a week but now I just dont feel like going there

Push ups, pull ups, abdominals, and cardio. You can lift some weight if you want. That's it.

I also have a great diet dont overeat myself only drink water in summer I eat ice cream everyday but whatever its not that big problem I just dont like the gym anymore im sick of these gymheads, im just sick of seeing people in the gym and the disgusting smell
