An orthotropic device will be better.
Also, if you already have high-set wide cheekbones, palate expansion is unnecessary. Though, if your palate is a flat U, then the back palate needs expansion.

I don't think a bad smile is going to be a problem. Bone structure of face > smile anyday. 8 teeth smile won't be too bad.

they told me it's most likely unfixable with (traditional) orthodontics and that I should search for a non-orthodontic way of fixing it (some kind of bridges/prothesis followed by extractions which could just aesthetically fix my smile to certain extent)

idk honestly if I would do that... maybe my case is fixable just if I had enough money for more advanced methods which are most likely unavailable outside of the West... she also said I might need surgical intervention so idk what to do at this point

Dawg your teeth are extremely crooked. Isn’t that the purpose of braces to fix crooked teeth? Why can’t they do that. And also what’s your maloclusion? Underbite or Overbite. If it’s moderate braces can fix it and if it’s severe then bimax would be your only option. However, if you have a overbite you can just jut your jaw forward

they can't put braces on my teeth because the crowding of my premolars is severe... they couldn't even extract my premolars since the 1st one is dependent on another one and vice versa, after extraction I'd probably lose another one as well

If it’s moderate braces can fix it and if it’s severe then bimax would be your only option. However, if you have a overbite you can just jut your jaw forward

not 3cm lol but even 0.5cm is already too big gap

they recommended me some sort of prosthesis/dental bridges which is cope, it's for pensioners I'd look slightly less subhuman with that solution but honestly it's not worth it

arent veneers an option? dental bridges will recess ur jaw over time its better to get a prosthesis tooth to make sure ur jaw doesnt recess. u didnt say anything about missing teeth tho?

I have no missing teeth, they just recommended me a solution where my 2nd tooth would be extracted so I could put implants instead of it or whatever, but I don't think it's a good idea anyway

does putting veneers make sense when your teeth are severely crooked? I always used to think they're only for the folks with relatively aligned teeth
